Brigid McCabe combines abstract and representational symbols that investigate communication, interaction and travels within created spaces. Using a variety of media- oil, acrylic, gouache, ink, graphite and watercolor, Brigid comments on her work: “I create forms and patterns that communicate how people react with their surroundings to create the comfort that’s required to navigate chaos in their worlds”. Brigid obtained her BFA from UC Santa Cruz and recently completed her MFA at Boston University. She lives and works in the South Bay.
