In her fine art photography, emerging French photographer Lucia Zegada’s work investigates the frontier between dream and reality. Out of time, out of frame, Zegada’s multitude of dream lives composes a mosaic more emotional than documentary. She has exhibited in France, Germany, Hungary, Mexico and in the U.S. and has done photography assignments for The New York Times, GQ, CondŽ Nast Traveler, Le Monde and Time Magazine.

Lucia Zegada completed a BA in art history and photography at the Sorbonne University and a Masters in Photography from the Ecole National Superieure Arts (ENSAD) Decoratifs of Paris, France. She lives and works in San Francisco and Europe. Her awards include First Prize “Young European Artist” from the BP Foundation for photography and ENSAD and from the European Cultural Foundation, Le Monde2, Photographie.com & Kodak, Picto& Kodak, and Pour Voir.
